The FIGHT FOREVER FOUNDATION was formed in the hours of our founder’s most trying personal battle with this disease. We have seen what Cystic Fibrosis has done to those who are not with us today, and we see what Cystic Fibrosis continues to do to those who are fighting to stay here. This disease has already taken the lives of too many, and it cannot go on taking anymore. That is why we cannot and will not rest until we find a CURE.
Our sole objective and pursuit is to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. There are many complex economic and science related factors that contribute to the difficulties of finding a cure. However, they are difficulties that we understand and they are difficulties that we will continue to work through.
The realization of a cure does not lie in the hands of just one individual or group. Its realization will come through the collective efforts, talents and continual participation by many. We believe in the power of collaboration. And we work to collaborate with other organizations and scientists across the world that truly share in our priority for a cure and wish to find it together. We continue to comprise our team with a combination of scientific experts and other dedicated professionals that both, have currently identified and are pursuing the different avenues for a cure and who also possess the ongoing ability to identify and pursue the viable avenues of the future.
We ultimately believe that a cure is attainable. But it would not be true if we told you that it is an easy task. However, the road to achieving such a goal is never without challenge. But this is a challenge that all of us apart of Fight Forever understand and will always continue to take on.
This foundation was founded upon the bedrock of Love, Strength and an unrelenting Will to Fight. It was founded upon a love that is shared between true friends, a love that they each shared for their friend with CF, and a love that they collectively shared for all with this disease. It was founded upon a strength that had endured heavy obstacles of the past and a strength that will always be able to endure the great obstacles of the future. And lastly, this foundation was founded, upon a will to fight that has no reservations and knows no fear. It is a will that has been tested and a will that understands that it will always continue to be. It is a will that will never die, because it lives within the mind of the human spirit and the will to live. And there is nothing on this earth that can ever change that.
